Vanzi Cam Terms of Use

Welcome to Vanzi Cam (“Vanzi” or the “App”), a local-first iPhone photography tool that connects shooting ideas, framing assistance, filters, and photo editing. Please read and understand these Terms of Use (the “Terms”) before using the App. By tapping “Agree” in the launch gate, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Content

• The App provides camera capture, photo editing, filter management, AI composition, AI crop, sample references, and related features.
• Standard editing, filter processing, AI composition decisions, and AI crop decisions are performed on-device.
• Cloud AI features such as sample reference generation, sample import or reanalysis, and viewpoint reconstruction upload the photos and inputs needed to complete the request.
• Filter sharing is user-initiated and uploads one temporary .vfilter snapshot plus a standard original/effect comparison preview for delivery by share code.
• The App may update features and interfaces from time to time to improve user experience and service stability.

2. Online Services and Usage Rules

• No account required: The App does not provide a registration or login account. Online services such as purchase validation, the AI generation credit ledger, cloud AI requests, system notices, and feedback require necessary service records, but do not provide account-based resource merging or a long-term cloud content library. Cross-device purchase restoration depends on Apple purchase transactions and Apple-provided purchase account identifiers.
• Local-first data and AI diagnostics: Local photos, editing results, filters, sample references, and content that can be synced by the system are mainly managed by your device and system capabilities. The server permanently retains AI inputs, outputs, prompts, model responses, and diagnostic results until you request deletion or an administrator deletes them. This archive supports functionality, troubleshooting, and quality analysis; it is not a user-accessible asset library, a cross-device sync source, or a post-delivery download service. When changing devices, reinstalling the App, or disabling system sync, some local data may not be recoverable.
• Temporary filter sharing: each confirmed share creates a separate, non-editable snapshot and code for the duration you choose. Expiry or stopping the share makes the code unavailable and removes its server data. This does not turn local filters into a cloud library or make ordinary filter use depend on a network connection.
• Lawful use: You may not use the App for illegal activities, infringement, malicious attacks, bulk API abuse, or other improper conduct. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate service as appropriate.

3. Content and Intellectual Property

• The intellectual property rights in the App's product, interface, code, and related content belong to Qinghua Wang or the relevant rights holders.
• You or the original rights holder retain rights to photos you upload. You must ensure that you have lawful rights or authorization for the content you upload.
• You understand that AI-generated content may be inaccurate or stylistically different from expectations, and generated results are for reference only.

4. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Auto-Renewal

The App may offer Vanzi Standard and Vanzi Pro auto-renewable subscriptions, Vanzi Lifetime, and AI generation credit packs. Purchases are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase (IAP) system. Billing, renewal, refunds, and purchase restoration are governed by Apple's rules and your device settings.

• Subscription plans: Monthly and annual Vanzi Standard unlock the complete creative toolkit and have no recurring AI generations. Monthly and annual Vanzi Pro also include 30 AI generations in each actual paid month; unused included generations reset at expiry and do not carry over.
• Auto-renewal: Vanzi Standard and Vanzi Pro renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
• Billing time: Your Apple Account will be charged within 24 hours before the end of the subscription period.
• Cancellation: You can manage or cancel subscriptions in the iOS subscription management page, available through the system "Manage Subscriptions" entry.
• Vanzi Lifetime: Vanzi Lifetime is a one-time purchase that permanently unlocks the complete creative toolkit. It does not include a recurring allocation of AI generation credits.
• AI generation credit packs: Credit packs are consumable purchases. Purchased credits do not expire. They are not a substitute for a current trial, Standard, Pro, or Lifetime entitlement; verified Apple transactions associate them with a purchase wallet, and the server-side purchase ledger maintains the unused balance. Buying and using credits requires one of those active entitlements and a network connection.
• Restore purchases: If you change devices or reinstall the App, Apple's restore purchase mechanism restores active subscriptions and Vanzi Lifetime. After verified Apple transaction identifiers re-associate the same purchase wallet, the server ledger also restores its unused credit-pack balance. Recently verified access may continue to allow local creative tools for a short offline period, but AI generation and credit usage require a network connection.
• Free trial, one-time bonus generations, and settlement: All four subscriptions are in one subscription group and may offer a seven-day free trial. Apple determines eligibility, limited to once per Apple Account in the group. The first verified active trial, subscription, or Lifetime entitlement for a purchase wallet adds 15 non-expiring bonus AI generations, limited to once per Apple purchase wallet; reinstalling, changing devices, restoring purchases, or switching plans does not add another set. Vanzi Pro's monthly 30 are not issued during the trial and begin with the first actual paid period. The one-time bonus remains after a refund or revocation but cannot be used without an active access entitlement. Requests that require credits reserve them before processing. Reserved credits are returned when server validation fails, the server or upstream provider fails, or a paid task only partially completes on the server, and the failure message states this. Backgrounding, network loss, closing the App, or an SSE disconnect does not directly confirm consumption or trigger a refund; the operation is settled according to its final business state. Consumption is confirmed without a refund only when you expressly confirm cancellation and the client calls the cancellation endpoint. After the server fully completes a task, client download, local write, or local application failure does not change the settlement result.

5. Disclaimers

• Suggestions and reference images generated by the App are for reference only and do not constitute professional advice or a guarantee.
• For service interruptions, delays, or failures caused by network issues, third-party services, force majeure, or similar factors, we will make reasonable efforts to restore service but are not liable for indirect losses resulting from them.
• You understand and agree that AI-related services may be affected by changes in upstream platform policies and may become temporarily unavailable or vary in quality.

6. Service Changes, Interruptions, and Termination

• We may adjust or upgrade the service for operational, security, or compliance reasons.
• If abnormal activity occurs, such as abuse, attacks, or unlawful use, we may restrict or terminate your use as appropriate.

7. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page. For material changes or other changes that require renewed consent, Vanzi will present the new version during launch or use and continue providing services only after you expressly agree.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. If a dispute arises, the parties should first seek an amicable resolution. If negotiation fails, the dispute will be handled under applicable law.
